Messed Up! But All for Love
- Arvind Parashar
Doubt
thou the stars are fire;
Doubt
that the sun doth move;
Doubt
truth to be a liar;
But
never doubt I love.
-
William Shakespeare
With such lines opening the novel, you can
never fail being gripped to the story. This story is about the love life of
Neil and Gauri, after their marriage. It is not just the charming love, but the
love they hold firm past facing so many ups and downs in life. Neil gets into a
number of troubles and fights to come out of them, realizing his mistakes, to
prove his love for Gauri.
The story has said both about love and
friendship, with love at its depth. Main plot takes course with Neil as the
protagonist, who tells about his life, from his point of view. The sub-plots
are driven with the main characters such as Gauri, Sriyani, Tom, Jerry, James, Mehr,
Drishti, Somesh and Antriksha with whom the plot takes a sharp turn. Yet, the
plot travels towards one conclusion.
You are living a happy life and suddenly
you feel everything beside you is falling apart. You are put into the situation
where you lose the love of your life and then you find that it is a well and
pre-planned play to make you suffer. Same happens with Neil and he is
completely messed up! But all for love…
The author Arvind Parashar has given the
story a simple language with so much variations including the crisp of thrill,
the joy of friendship, a mistake of choice, a touch of crime but then the clasp
of love. Being a subjective narration, it is easy for the readers to put into
the shoes of the protagonist. The rise and fall of situations in the story will
keep you entertained and the last few pages of the tale will make you wonder
like “what the hell has just happened?” Also, the tail of this story is the
head of the second novel! Pretty excited to read the next one.
