Falling in love
The story opens with the arrival of Manav, the icon of the
novel, to Bangalore. The passion that
Manav has to study hotel management gives rise to face the strife that his
family creates. The insufficient pocket money makes him to accept the offer to
join as a roommate in a flat. Manav soon gets accustomed with his campus and
classes. Manav being no exception from the youth generation soon blinks in the
chat rooms. He visits the net café with the money he saves from his lunch. The
boychick finds a girl, actually the only one who responds to his message.
Sriti, 16 year
old, is naturally a smart girl. Manav likes the way she tease him. His
friendship slowly turns to love, which he realizes soon. Sriti too eventually
likes Manav but remains a silent lover and couldn’t keep up her promise when
she said she won’t text Manav or when she said she won’t call Manav.
It was on Manav’s
birthday, Sriti calls him for the first time of their one year chat. Sriti does
not accept his proposal reasoning her family. Sriti brings up her friend to fix
the problem which turns their first meeting worse. Though Manav loves Sriti
deeply, he doesn’t wish to talk first. When Sriti talks to him after a long
time, Manav realizes that Sriti has missed him a lot but not ready to accept
her love. Their first kiss becomes unforgettable, where Manav kiss her and do
the mistake. But no later, Sriti opens her heart in a rainy evening with his
warmness encircling her. Their love grows and delights each day.
Meanwhile Manav manages
to get a job. Though not a good job, Manav accepts. But soon there comes an
unexpected thunder in their love life when Sriti’s parent starts searching a
groom for her. Manav totally shatters when she says breakup is the final option
left. His heart tears apart. Manav always wants to hold her. Sriti also wished
to be his forever but her family seems to be important.
Sriti tries to
put an end to everything and breaks his contact. By this time, Manav makes
study on Marwari religion and completely knows about her family. He decides to
take any risk to get back his love. With his plan, Manav enters her house and
slowly into their hearts. His crazy love makes Manav to do every possible
thing. He takes his step carefully and mingles with them. He attracts her
family to hold his love. Sriti admires Manav for all his efforts and Manav,
wins their hearts.
But their
happiness did not last forever. The seriousness pops again when Sriti says that
her family is about to see the groom. Manav understands the situation. He
doesn’t want to delay any further for which they reveals the truth next
day.Sriti’s dad fumes with anger. He feels that Manav has cheated the family by
showering false love. On a sudden they all get stunned when her father says
that Sriti has chosen a gem to be her life partner. Now, the story ends in a
happy tone.
Despite of
following the same path of the upcoming authors, NEERAJ MISHRA has chosen his
own milky way to reach the success. His sense of humor is sprinkled
everywhere. The blissfulness of the
love, the efforts one does to grasp his love glimmers ubiquitously. The
fragrance of reality stays fresh throughout the story. The blossoming words
used to express the love in NEERAJ MISHRA’S “FALLING IN LOVE” makes everyone to
